Yasuhiro (Takehiro) Konishi, 10th Dan (1931-2017)
10th Dan Shindo Jinen-Ryu Karate-Jutsu
With the death of Konishi Sensei in 1983, leadership for Japan Karate-Do Ryobu-Kai passed to his son, Yasuhiro (Takehiro) Konishi, 10th Dan. Born on May 25, 1931, in Tokyo, Japan, Konishi Soke graduated from Keio University in March 1955. He changed his name from Takehiro Konishi to Yasuhiro Konishi after his father’s death. Sadly, on the morning of the 9th April 2017 Takehiro Konishi Soke passed away.
Konishi Soke oversaw the operations for all Japan Karate-Do Ryobu-Kai schools in Japan and guided the policies and philosophy of Shindo Jinen-Ryu worldwide.
