Stephen Marriott 3rd Dan, SKI with Kancho Kanzawa, 10th Dan SKI

Stephen Marriott started Karate at the age of 11. Originally training under the guidance of John van Weenen. In 2004 Stephen left John van Weenen and joined SKKIF headed by Roger Carpenter Sensei in the UK and Kancho Kanazawa Internationally.

In 2006 Stephen regraded to 3rd Dan under Kanazawa Sensei to get his grade registered with the SKIF Hombu in Japan. The same year he was selected as part of the SKKIF team to compete in the 9th SKIF World Championships in Japan.

Stephen still trains regularly on courses throughout the UK and teaches on courses and at his Dojo in Bedfordshire.
